auction

For many of our customers, the auction has long since become a fixed date in their calendars – because here you can get wines that are unique.

The next auction will take place on November 6, 2025, at Nells Parkhotel Trier (Dasbachstrasse 12, 54292 Trier). Every year, the members of the RING auction select wines at the RING Auction. Wine lovers from all over the world take advantage of this unique opportunity to purchase top wines from the current vintage as well as select rarities.

We, the winery, are presenting the following auction lot: 240 bottles of Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling KABINETT 2024. Of course, you can also bid on individual bottles or small lots; accredited commission agents will handle all transactions. They will represent your bids and ensure a smooth transaction—on-site or online.

If you're interested in participating, simply contact us using the form below. Alternatively, you can contact one of our registered agents directly.

Before the auction, you submit your desired bottles, along with your maximum bid, to the commission agents. You can submit this in writing to us or to one of the registered commission agents up to one day before the auction. You can also register for online access, which will give you the opportunity to interact during the auction. But the best part is being there in person: Not only can you taste each individual wine, but you can also sit together at the commission agent's table.

The auction will be broadcast live over the Internet.

The auction has a very long tradition, and the Bernkasteler Ring is considered the oldest auction ring. All bottles are sealed after the auction and can only be shipped afterward. Pickup at the winery is possible.

Rise - bid

You can send us your climbing order here. We will then forward it to a commission agent. Please state your requirements in the message field below, for example:

I would like (...) bottle(s) up to a maximum price of xxx EURO/bottle. You can also enter multiple limits, for example: I would like (...) bottles up to a maximum price of xxx EURO/bottle. If the price rises above xxx EURO/bottle, I would only like (...) bottles up to a maximum price of y EURO/bottle. This way you can create your own quantity scale.
