Estate wines

The vineyards in which his hand-picked grapes ripen reflect the terroir of each location.
Estate wines are matured DRY or, if they have residual sweetness, are labeled KABINETT.

FIRST LOCATION

A wine from classified single-slope vineyards, whose grapes have undergone a very long ripening process. Aged 100% in oak barrels. Spontaneously fermented and without fining. Wines from first-class vineyards are matured dry or, if they retain residual sweetness, are labeled as late harvest.

GREAT LOCATION

These Grand Cru wines come only from the finest steep slopes and are characterized by exceptional aging potential. A selective hand-harvest, a limited harvest, and a unique microclimate are the prerequisites for this top segment. Wines from Grand Cru vineyards are matured dry or, if they retain residual sweetness, carry the designation Kabinett, Spätlese, or Auslese.
